Mum’s illness became more challenging to manage for Christine, Kathleen and Ben as it progressed. The rapid response team enabled us to honour mum’s wishes to remain at home. We were humbled by the devotion to mum’s comfort and medical needs by every nurse that entered our home, day or night. Sometimes the team had just left when we became concerned again and they travelled straight back. If we can enable another family to experience the care that mum received towards the end of her life through much needed donations, we will do so gladly. Friends and family who would also like to support the team in mum’s memory will be greatly appreciated. Christine, Kathleen and her devoted grandson, Ben x
