I will be fundraising to support the projects of Sikh Relief. They have been supporting Sikh Prisoners of Conscience and their families officially since 2008, organising legal representation, medical treatment, education of children and family maintenance programmes for all those who have been affected by state oppression and a politicised system.

Beyond that Sikh Relief has also been supporting the Kisaan Morcha since November 26th 2020 by creating a tent village at Singhu Border, providing Langar, medical treatment and two Reverse Osmosis water treatment facilities for thousands of protesting farmers.

The Kirat Kamai project has revolutionised the lives of thousands more young underprivileged women who have gained the skills in tailoring and embroidery, allowing them to graduate from our system and be awarded an industrial sewing machine and equipment to begin self-employment and raise themselves out of poverty with dignity.

Like the recipients of the Sikh Relief support system, we too believe in a hand up and not a handout, therefore we don’t just want your donations because we asked for it... no, we want you to sponsor me to cycle the 156miles.
