Story

On the 1st of June, some of the Edinburgh Ops team are going to be raising money for the Friends of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

They have recently been looking after one of our colleagues so this is a cause very close to our hearts. All donations no matter how small would be gratefully received!

The team will be taking part in four different events:

•    Full cycle – Glasgow to Edinburgh (56 miles)
•    Half cycle – Falkirk High to Edinburgh (30 miles)
•    Walk the walk – Linlithgow to Edinburgh (21 miles)
•    Walk the half-walk – Falkirk High to Linlithgow (9 miles)

Friends of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel was established in 1979 to provide the aspects of care concerned with a patient’s comfort and environment, helping give them and their loved ones peace of mind.

About the charity

Friends aim to provide amenities to support the social recuperation of all ages that have to stay in the wards either before or following treatment. Funds are raised over and above the NHS provision to provide patient comforts, which help to make time spent in hospital better for all. Big Thankyou
