Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I am taking part in the BACKUP North West Charity Skydive 2020 on Sunday 19th April.

I will freefall from up to 15,000ft reaching a speed of approximately 120mph!

I will be taking part in this event to raise funds and awareness for BACKUP North West and the amazing work they do.

Backup (Formerly Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme) was

set up in 1992 in partnership with Bolton Council and Irwell Valley Housing with one house in Daubhill. They provide an opportunity for young people who are homeless to be safe, stable and develop skills for independence.

Backup deliver a range of services that include

accommodation, support, advice and guidance with 2 aims:

  • Preventing homelessness
  • Increasing independent living skills

In doing so, they see improvements in health and well-being,

reduction in risk of harm, improvements in finances, increase in

self-confidence, improvements in health both physical and mental, less

exploitation, reduction in use of drugs or alcohol amongst other things

Any donations would be hugely appreciated to help young

people!

Your money goes a long way and really makes a difference.
