In memory of Katie Mckerracher
We help children with a DIPG brain tumour to make the most of the time they have.

Story

Katie was a fit fun loving girl of 10 when diagnosed with a DIPG type brain tumour. Within a year, after a courageous fight, her parents Andrew & Anne and her brothers Bruce & Fergus had to finally let her go. They've been our friends forever and they're the loveliest family.

Their charity in Katie's name now helps the 20-30 families in the UK every year who are also told their 5-12 year old have this condition and will not survive. They help those families make the most of the time they have, and also raise awareness to try and find a cure. So my little day of pain to raise funds is a tiny price to pay.

It's a 3800m (2.4 mile) open water swim, 180km (112 mile) bike and then a marathon. But it's in sunny Barcelona.

Please give what you can. It's a small charity for an unknown and brutally cruel condition. You can make a big difference. Thank you.
