Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. On Saturday 11th July Andrew, Fiona, Emily, Nicola, Anna, Alice, Stacey and Kirstie will take to the skies in an attempt to smash the world tandem skydiving record to raise money for Pilgrim Bandits.

Pilgrim Bandits was set up by a small group of Special Forces veterans with the aim of using their unique training to help and inspire wounded forces personnel to embrace life again and in doing so inspire others. Pilgrim Bandits fund pioneering medical treatments and extreme expeditions for injured members of the armed forces and emergency services. The injured patrons then share their inspirational experiences by visiting schools, young offender's institutes, care homes and businesses.

None of the Irwin Mitchell team have participated in a skydive before and all of us are terrified! But, it's all for a good cause and all of the money raised goes directly to Pilgrim Bandits. Please support us in breaking the record, conquering our fears and raising money for this amazing cause.

Pilgrim Bandits know that adversity, challenges and obstacles serve to strengthen the human spirit. But for some of those we support, just to smile or enjoy the company of others, is an almost insurmountable task. We endeavour to get them to believe in a life worth living again. Through Pilgrim Bandits they push to new limits. They help others. They inspire children and young people by working with schools and care centers. Some say that we are a charity, we say were a charitable force.
