I spent my fourth year of uni focusing on Multiple Sclerosis, it's causes and symptoms. I used research to design 'The Light Yard' a relaxation and rehabilitation centre for MS sufferers. Ever since meeting people with the disease, it has become incredibly important to me to raise more awareness of the horrible and painful illness. 

So many people do not know enough about MS or what causes it. For example, a lack of vitamin D can cause MS, hence why there are so many people in Scotland suffering from the disease. 

Every MS sufferer has a different reaction to the disease, some more obvious than others. Over 50% of those with MS suffer from depression at some point. It is not a terminal illness but it never goes away, and there is currently no cure!
