Although the prospect of running the London Marathon is terrifying, it's also something that I have always wanted to do. The Lingen Davies Cancer fund is a fantastic charity and I am really excited to help support a local charity that is asking for funding for SUCH a great cause. This year the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund have launched an Action Aid appeal and are pledging to raise £750,000 for a new piece of high-tech radiotherapy equipment to be placed at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This will help cut waiting lists and ensure that local cancer patients can receive treatment locally with as little disruption as possible to their day to day life.

As well as running the marathon I have also organised a charity ball to hopefully exceed the pledged amount of £1500, with loads of support from local business' I am hoping to smash that target- lets wait and see!
