Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 7th of October and my aim is to raise as much money as possible for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is an organization providing high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. The organization runs nine hospices in London and across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity also conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer.

Your money will go a long way to support their work and any amount will be more than gratefully received. One hour of nursing care in a patient’s home costs £20.
