I am fundraising money for the charity Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) as I am volunteering with the charity during April 20th until July 13th as part of the International Citizenship Service programme(ICS).

 I am volunteering on the Tanzania programme. The theme of this programme is livelihoods and education. I will be based in Zanzibar, an Island off the coast of Tanzania and will be working on development projects alongside volunteers from Tanzania in a community which has specifically asked for ICS's help.

 I will be conducting different fundraising events to help raise the funds which I will update details of on here or through Facebook.

The £800 that I am hoping to raise contributes to the ICS programme so that 7,000 young people from the UK and overseas can volunteer on projects in the developing world and fight poverty. I'll be specifically working with the charity VSO who's work benefits so many lives, you can see their amazing work through the link here hhtp://www.vso.org.uk
