As a team we are participating in Pedal for Scotland 2011, a cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh (51 miles!) in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

Breast Cancer Care combine the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise, using this in a unique way to:

• provide information and offer emotional and practical support
• bring people affected by breast cancer together
• campaign for improvement in standards of support and care
• promote the importance of early detection.

 

Many of us will be touched by cancer througout our lives, whether it is a personal experience or through friends and loved ones. Whatever monies raised, however small, will make a difference to those affected. 

Please help us to raise as much money as possible for this cause and do think of us all on 11th September! It's been a long time since many of us have been on a bike so to say it's a challenge is an under-statement.
