Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The MS Society Scotland is a charity very close to mine and my family's heart. Around 10,500 people in are affected by MS, which is a life changing, and often debilitating illness,
The charity provide information and support for people affected by MS, giving grants or respite where necessary. They campaign to persuade the Scottish Government to provide adequate services that meet the needs of those affected.
They're also the biggest funder in of research into the causes, cure and care of multiple sclerosis.
We've chosen to support this charity as they rely entirely on the support of the public and charitable donations so need all the help we can give. James and I both love the outdoors and walking (which is a good thing considering!) so chose the as a challenge. My dad (Ken) wisely chose not to do the walk (using some excuse about being too old to camp!) but is meeting us in to climb .
So, when we're out and about in the notorious Scottish elements, being torn to shreds by the dreaded midgies, knowing that we're helping such a good cause will really keep us going.
...And we'll post pictures of the walk along the way so don't worry, you'll get your chance to laugh at us in no time!
