Story
My name is Isla and I am 9 years old. Ever since my Grandad died in April from Covid-19 I have begged my Mummy and Daddy to let me run a lemonade stand outside our house to raise funds to help. Finally they agreed
I designed a menu involving ice cream with several different types of sprinkles and toppings available, as well as planned everything we could need, including an area for tables and chairs for people to sit on our driveway, protective gloves and hand gel.
I managed to raise just under £60 on the actual day of my Lemonade stall but my Dad's friend Tom thinks we could double that through a just giving page. So those of you that were unable to come but would still like to help, why don't you pour yourself a glass of lemonade or grab 2 scoops of ice cream (don't forget to add the sprinkles). My suggested donation is 50p for a glass of lemonade and 50p for ice cream, but any help would be truly amazing.
Thank you,
Isla
