Grace founded Smiles in 2011. It is a testament to her that over ten years later, her spirt and her charity are bringing us together and raising money to fund life changing research into Encephalocele and Spinal-Limphoma markers. Money fundraised by Smiles aids Dominic Thompson (Grace's Neurosurgeon) in his work. 

This May, we are aiming to make the cycle back to Trafalgar Square in time to share a drink with as many of you as are able to join us on the 28th. Our route sets out from Bellagio, Italy the subject of a 1940's painting by Lara's Great-Great-Granny (see above)! From here we will cross three countries worth of Alps, the Jura mountains, tackle French canals and finally brave the traffic of Paris - all to make our ferry on the evening of the 27th! 

This adventure should total a whopping 1,500km over Italy, Switzerland, France and Britian. Along the way, we will share Grace's story with the people we meet and keep her flame burning.
