Story
As many of you already know, we are cycling Coast to Coast (Whitehaven to Sunderland) on 23rd April 2014!!
Whilst some of our reasons for undertaking this challenge are personal (Sam's unhealthy obsession with cycling) (Joelle's desire to get into a Wedding dress) we also realise that this adventure isn't something that most people do every day! So we want to use this challenge to not only achieve our own personal goals but to help raise money to support our neighbours this Easter....
Our chosen charity is Age UK. This fantastic charity provide a huge variety of care and support for the elderly community some of which include:
Benefits Advice, Complementary Therapies, Exercise, Gardening, Holidays/Outings, Home Help, Home safety, Home security, Housing Advice, IT/computer training, Lunch Club, Other learning opportunities, Physical activity, Social Club, Tax Information, & Therapeutic Services

Age UK Lincoln are currently providing excellent home care for Joelle's Grandad. From little things like making sure he gets up, has a cup of tea and remembers his breakfast, to sometimes just being a friend for an hour, Age UK are providing a world of support to not just Joelle's family but thousands across the UK.
Age UK provide support in so many ways to the local community which many people are not aware of and their work is often without recognition...
We think the ladies and gentleman of Age UK are unsung heroes and therefore we dedicate our challenge to them... so on behalf of us, our families (namely Grandad Fisko) and the many people to whom they provide support and happiness... Age UK we say thank you!!
We will be updating our page with progress photos throughout our challenge so if photos of mountains, roman walls, legs and pedals excite you... please donate generously!!
