Strictly Learn to Dance 2018 (14/1 - 24/3) · 24 March 2018 ·
Over the next few weeks along with other novices I will be learning to dance paired with a ‘professional’. The sequins will be donned in March to perform for the panel of judges. All for St Luke's, it gives me a chance to support them as they have supported some of the Cheshire Police staff and officers over recent months. After all, what is a little embarrassment to say thank you compared with the work of the Hospice?
Help Kevin, my wonderfully supportive professional dance partner, and I reach our target and I will keep you posted on progress when I've figured out my Fleckerls from my chasses!
HOT OFF THE PRESS - You can now make donations by text. All you have to do is write the code JMCK92 on the first line of the text message, the amount you would like to donate on the second line and then send to 70700.
Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
