The medical and non nursing staff on the children's ward at Whiston are by far such an amazing team of wonderful human beings. 

In the words of Danielle, mother to little Joseph;

My 8 year old son Joseph has been very fortunate to have received exemplary care throughout his young life starting from the day he was born at the hospital in October 2009.
A few complications at birth, resulting in several further health issues including a broken thigh bone at just 22 months saw him require complex care from an outstanding team of professionals and he was looked after to a degree that quite simply will never be forgotten or indeed taken for granted. 

Without the tenacity and dedication, we wouldn't have him here today and anything that can be 'given back' to support the tireless work that many families will appreciate gets my vote.
