As you may be aware, JCT600 has become a proud sponsor of two determined young men from Yorkshire who have taken on a quest to conquer the Atlantic in the world's toughest rowing race.  Alex Macdonald and Luke Grose, otherwise known as 'Team JCT600' aim to bring home a new world record by completing the 3,000 miles Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race in less than 40 days.

Together with the boys, we will be using the race to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support with a series of rowing challenges hosted by JCT600 dealerships throughout September and October.

The challenge:

Each team of four must row for a total of 30 minutes on a Concept Two rowing machine, with a minimum distance of 1000m per participant.  There is no maximum distance.

Prizes will be awarded to the team that travels the furthest distance within 30 minutes at each event.

Rowing Challenge Events will be held on the following dates at dealerships throughout Yorkshire:

Saturday 12th September: JCT600 VW Hull

Saturday 19th September: JCT600 Mercedes-Benz of Sheffield

Saturday 26th September: JCT600 VW Wakefield

Saturday 10th October: JCT600 Porsche Centre Leeds

Saturday 17th October: JCT600 BMW Bradford

Saturday 24th October: JCT600 VW York
