Story

John is Great Britain's only blind male ski racer on a count down to the Winter Olympics in 2018! He is a member of The British Disabled Ski Team (http://www.bdst.co.uk) and skis with a Race Guide. John was selected for the British Team Development Squad in November 2011. John's ambition is to qualify for the European Cup during the 2014/15 winter season on his journey to the 2018 winter games As a member of ParalympicsGB. John is currently trialling a new Guiding Partnership in advance of the race season which is an important part of visually impaired ski racing. Skiing is a highly competitive sport which demands time, energy, commitment and dedication. Over the next four years John will have to compete in Europe and North America to qualify for the Winter Olympics - he needs your help to do this! There is exceptionally little financial support available to disabled ski racers and that why your help is really important. In order to ski and race successfully John needsyour support to help pay for the equipment, travel, accommodation, training costs and race fees. Please donate as much as can you to help them achieve his goal and represent Great Britain at the Winter Olympics in 2018. Thank-you!
