My name Is Jennifer and I am a single parent of 5 year old twins and a 2 year old

I am running for Rise as a survivor of domestic violence two times.Both times were linked to drug abuse, financial control, violence infront of children and isolation.The 2nd time was the very worst and nearly lost my children to social services until I got away.I am very embarrassed by the things my children have experienced but we are a success story.I learned to recognise I was in a cycle and about Clare's Law which is a scheme for the members of public to ask the police to provide information on potential risk of domestic abuse in a relationship with a partner.We now live a happy, fulfilled life, I have gotten back into the world of mature student education and working to be a role model for my family.The kids are doing great in school although my boy had to attend speech therapy due to a delayed speech impediment.I believe my youngest may need the same.This is typical of experience of domestic abuse sadly.I plan to open a makeup studio and academy when my studies are finished but will continue to fundraise for charities for domestic violence against women and children.In the future in particular with my academy id like to help mothers in similar situations get back into work via the beauty industry but struggle with support financially, emotionally and with their self esteem.Im proud that i broke free now but I know the cycle of these abusive relationships.It is extremely difficult to leave without support.Even more so if you are isolated.Please support my decision to run and give to my chosen charity.Even 50p I am grateful for.The money goes directly to the charity.Thankyou deeply xx
