The reason for running in this event is in memory of my wife Caroline who sadly died in October last year aged only 37,through cancer of the oesophagus.

Saying goodbye too someone you love knowing you will never see them again,and then having to go home and into your children's bedroom, too break the news that their mam had gone to heaven is something I thought  would never happen,but the cruel truth was no matter what I could do nothing prevented  my family being ripped apart by cancer.

So by raising money, maybe one day there might be a breakthough at will help family's beat cancer.

So please dig deep and give what you can,1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer in some way.
