Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2017 I will be climbing to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (as part of a 40 person strong team), the highest free-standing mountain in the world, at 19,341 feet tall.  Once this has been accomplished we will look to set a new world record for the highest altitude football match ever played. An almighty challenge, I am sure you will agree!

For me this will be a huge physical and psychological effort. This is certainly taking me well outside of my comfort zone and I am sure there will be plenty of blood, sweat and tears spilled along the way.

I would appreciate any sponsorship that can be spared to help me reach and surpass my target.

The Steve Prescott Foundation is a wonderful charity and all funds raised will go straight to the SPF Special Causes Fund, The Christie Manchester and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
