Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 10 February 2019

We are a community charity farm based in the heart of Nottingham. We are free for everyone. We also support over 170 volunteers each week with a variety of different needs and requirements. Our costs have risen significantly in the past 2 years so please support us as much as you can.

Story

Stonebridge City Farm is a  Nottingham community charity which has been an important part of our lives to ourselves, children and grandchildren for the past 40 years.   They support  120 people a week, many of whom have a learning disability or a mental health difficulty. They provide many programmes to support our community from educational programmes linking with local schools and colleges, volunteering opportunities to people with various health needs and provides a wonderful Farm and play area for our families at an affordable cost.

Our mission (JRH support) is to raise as much money to prevent  Stonebridge City farm from closing.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks 17th March 2019

As a team, we will be holding a string of events internally and externally and our first big event will be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.  The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a one-day epic adventure to walk the three highest mountains in Yorkshire. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks covers24 miles and the challenge is to complete the walk in 12 hours!

Within the interim of our next event Climbing Ben Nevis, we will be raising money Tombola, 5-day virtual running, Bake sale etc.

Climbing Ben Nevis 6th July 2019

We have a team of 14 staff who will be climbing the highest mountain in Britain which stands at 1,344m high and the walking distance of 18km in the western highlands of Scotland.

We are confident that raising these funds will help secure the future of the farm and ensure it keeps going.

The total amount they need to raise is  £30,000 so any contribution you make will help towards their overall target.
