As some of you know, my Mum was diagnosed with Alzthiemers Dementia 5 years ago, she has now been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia also. This disease is cruel and non discriminate. As Phil and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding Anniversary in September, we decided to do something significant, and have organised a Memory Walk in North London on September 02nd in honour of my "Unforgettable "Mum. We are attempting to raise £100.00 for every year of marrige so therefore are looking for a total of £3000.00 for the Alzheimers Society as they are the only real hope we have for any hope of a cure. We are determined to contribute to this significant and worthy organisation. We are therefore unashamedly asking for your support ( no pressure) if you can make a donation, that will be great, if you can support us on the day, that would be amazing. Thank you for taking time to read our message.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
