Hey everyone,

On Sunday the 21st of April 2024 I will be running the TCS London Marathon! I am fundraising for LOOK UK, a fantastic small (but national) charity who are on a mission to support young visually impaired people and their families to thrive. 

Children with sensory impairments are amongst the most vulnerable in our society. Social and academic exclusion is a serious issue for young visually impaired people. In order to challenge this, LOOK has created a strong community of support and facilitates peer mentoring, youth forums, parent support groups, wellbeing activities and accessible holidays to ensure that young blind and partially sighted people feel empowered and can fulfil their potential. 

As some of you who donated previously already know, I was due to run the marathon last year but unfortunately an injury sustained in training meant I had to withdraw. LOOK very kindly agreed to defer my place and I am really determined to repay their faith. Donations of any size are hugely appreciated and will make every blister worth it!
