Story

Thanks for looking on my JustGiving page.  Me and a group of 5 Family and Friends: Ian Rackstraw, Dominic Wright, Mark Slater, Andrew Urquhart, Conah Smith Wilson, are taking part in the Manchester to Blackpool bikeride on the 14th of July 2013 in memory of my Cousin Ross.

Ross was 10 years old when he passed away after bravely battling with a brain tumour he was diagnosed with in 2005. He endured several operations,  chemotherapy and radiotherapy without ever complaining no matter how horrible or frightening it was for him. Ross was a very loving, caring, generous, polite, friendly and sporting beautiful boy. He was a fan of all kinds of sports and Activities especially Football and Cricket and Chess.
Ross spent his final days at Derian House Children's Hospice and the staff  proved invaluable by not only providing wonderful care for Ross but also support for the whole family.

Me and 3 others have never cycled this far before and the training is long and tough but keeping Ross's happy and non complaining attitude in mind will help us get through it all for the worthy cause that is Derian House which needs in excess of £2.9 million just to stay open each year. Most of this money comes from the Generousity of donators as their is very little government funding providied for the special service's they offer both the Child and their parents. I would like to invite you to donate to this worthy cause.

Thank you, Jack.
