Having chronic asthma as a kid - PE Classes were always dreaded. Unless I was armed with my blue and brown pump … I wasn’t getting anywhere fast. I began running only this year since moving to Bristol, and found that I can actually run… and I’m actually really enjoying it !

I’ve chosen to raise money for the charity Caring In Bristol, which is an effective local charity working to deliver support to homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol 365 days a year.

Only in this last year of living here, I have really seen an increase in the number of homeless people on the streets at night and when I am out training for this half marathon.

Since moving to Bristol I have really fallen for the charms and personality of this city and want to give back to the community for all the happiness it’s given me.

Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope that this will encourage you to give what you can, it will really spur me on when I can’t feel my legs anymore knowing that this money is going to such a great cause.
