Ehlers-Danlos Support UK improves quality of life for people living with the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS). We work across the UK to support, advise and inform those living with the condition and the medical professionals working with them.

Story

I'm not asking everyone to donate, as long as you're reading this you are helping to raise awareness and that is fine by me!

For those of you who don't know, my younger brother Robert suffers from 'EDS' or Elhers-Danlos syndrome. A connective tissue disorder. (http://www.ehlers-danlos.org/what-is-eds/types-of-eds) To say he's had it pretty tough over the last 17 years would be putting it lightly. There's no need for me to post a story or an example of the kind of things he has been through, but if you know either me or him you'll know its taken quite a big affect on his and rest of our families lives.

Anyway - for some crazy reason a few months back I signed up for a spartan race! Which I completed... somehow. Now, me and the guys I done it with in August have decided to taken on the 'Spartan Super' in october. For those of you who don't know what it consists of, its a 20k off road trail race with 26 obstacles. (Hard work!) Last time I done it for a bit of a fun, this time, I'd like to make a real difference and help the charity which has supported my brother over the last 17 years.

Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated - Please, share. If you would like to get in touch about anything I have spoken about, please do feel free.

Regards, Jack.
