Story
My brother-in-law, Jack Reef was a diamond of a human being, who was great to be around. All of us at the LLGS golf society enjoyed his company on and off the golf course and we had some wonderful and fun times at our home course and on foriegn golf trips. He is so sorely missed by his family and friends and was taken from us far too young, at the age of 61. It was on a golf trip to Spain last June that we learnt of his inevitable struggle with advanced Oesophegeal cancer and after a few months of brave suffering, he was gone. We will be celebrating his memory by organising a golf day on 4th October 2017 at Abridge Golf Club, Essex, where a "JACK REEF" memorial trophy will be awarded to the best team. All proceeds for the day will be given to the Ochre Charity for Oesohegeal cancer awareness. Any donation to this just giving page will be so appreciated and will go toward dealing with the awful traumatic diseased faced by too many sufferers.
