Story

Thank you for stopping by.

For those unaware, my Dad, Steve, passed away back in 2011 following a long fight against a cancer of the Endocrine System, more specifically a Metastatic Paraganglioma.

I've always wanted to do something in his honour, and to raise awareness of this obscure, and generally unheard of cancer.
So, the time has come to do something in Steve's name, and in doing so help everyone else that has sadly been and may be involved with this cancer.

I've decided to cycle from London to one of the last holiday destinations dad visited, The Picos de Europa Mountain Range in Northern Spain.

Mum and Dad caught the ferry down to 'The Picos', and toured the area by car. I've set myself a slightly longer pilgrimage of cycling through France into Spain, before climbing the lofty heights of the mountains.

I feel if we all come together, we can raise a great amount of awareness and money in honor of Steve and the many other people who will be affected by Endocrine Cancer via the NET Patient Foundation.

Ahead of leaving for Spain in June, I'm going to hold a "One Tenth Day" and cycle one tenth of the distance on a turbo trainer at St George's University/Hospital to kick start awareness before I leave for Spain and indeed graduate from St George's.
