Hey Everyone,
 
As you may already know, it's been almost 5 years since I've had the all clear and to mark this epic milestone I want to do something really BIG to raise money for the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre. It hopefully will also show other people who may be in a similar position to where I was 5 years ago that there is a life and possibilities after cancer, so………..we're climbing Kilimanjaro!!

You have already been so kind and generous and have not only supported me through treatment and then through my degree, but you have also helped me and my fellow campaigners raise around £16,000 in the last 5 years for the Lingen Davies Cancer Centre Appeal for which I am so very grateful! This money has meant that the new Cancer and Chemotherapy Unit was built at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 2011! AND you have also helped to fill the new building with vital furniture and equipment!! THANK YOU!
 
Now they are raising money to improve the facilities available for people with cancer in Shropshire and Mid Wales, supporting as many projects as they can. 

So here's the current task: My dearest darling friend Jack Roberts (I have to be really nice to him so he'll carry me up some of the way) and myself will be heading up Kilimanjaro on the 3rd January 2013! This will be really hard for me, but it will be even harder for Jack who will have to put up with me grumbling and moaning, and as previously mentioned he may / will have to carry me at some point...so he will need a lot of sponsorship money to make it worth it for him!!
