After a debilitating back injury that I sustained in 2017/8.  I have embarked on a long, slow recovery which included countless physio, osteopath, & medical procedures.  This enabled my first part of recovery. 

The police treatment centre enabled me to rehabilitate both mentally & physically. I had counselling sessions, physical rehabilitation individually tailored for me, complimentary treatments plus all meals catered for & my own room on site. This was given to me despite not being a police officer but as a paramedic, where I was welcomed by everyone and felt part of the team.

I'm finally at a stage in my life where I'm learning to live with my injuries and still being able to challenge myself, push my own boundaries and do the things I wanted to do beforehand. 

With plenty of encouragement & support from my trainer I am participating in a charity truck pull.  The proceeds will go to the police treatment centre in Harrogate which is combined with castlebrae which is where I stayed for 2 weeks back in 2020.

My recovery continues but it's not going to stop me from living my life.

So please support me in raising funds for the police treatment centre where I cannot express my gratitude to them.
