Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my 9th UK trek for Breakthrough.  To date with these and my treks in the Himalayas and Cuba I have raised a total of £13,586.39 (who did give me those pennies?) so my aim this year if I can make it, is to reach the £15,000 milestone, hence my odd target figure.

We have now completed the Trek in the blistering heat.  Day 1 we had a cooling sea breeze which helped tremendously, day 2 was a different story, hotter, no breeze for 95% of the time and steeper hills, it was certainly a challenge that day!

Breakthrough do some amazing work in finding ways of curing Breast Cancer, working closely with other cancer charities in their efforts to stop this disease taking so many lives.  I have been to the reasearch centre in London and seen the computerised microscope my fund raising in the Himalayas helped to buy, so I know your money is well spent.
