Deep River Rock Belfast Marathon Festival 2013 · 6 May 2013 ·

This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

I am not a runner, never have been. But this year I have decided to run the Belfast Marathon in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

As a mum of two young healthy girls, I pray every day for their continued health. I cannot begin to imagine how a parent copes when their child is born with life-limiting conditions or is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

The NI Children's Hospice offers specialist care and support to children and young people with very complex needs, their families and carers. This is the only facility of its kind in Northern Ireland.

I am asking you to help me raise my target of £1000 for this truly amazing charity. Every single penny raised will make such a difference.

Thank you

Jaclyn
