Harrow - Hatch End Triathlon · 12 May 2013

At Jewish Child’s Day we believe no Jewish child should live in poverty, need or suffering - anywhere. We support over 12,000 Jewish children every year who suffer from physical and emotional disabilities, neglect, abuse and financial hardship, therefore your support will make a huge impact.

Story

Dear Family & Friends,

After taking part in the triathlon last year, I'm feeling excited to try it again this year on May 12th.

I am raising money for Jewish Childs Day and the money raised will go towards helping kids with disabilities take part in sporting activities. I love sport and hope to give other kids the chance to have as much fun.

Below are some details about the charity and the projects they support. I hope you have a minute to look at their video as well.

Thank you so much for any donation you are able to make. I look forward to telling you how it goes.

Best wishes, Jacob.

Jewish Child’s Day funds specialist riding, ice skating, football, tennis, cycling, swimming and hydrotherapy sessions and outdoor activity programmes. In addition Jewish Child’s Day provides vital equipment including specialist wheelchairs for wheelchair sports, specially adapted table tennis tables, tandem bicycles and special tricycles for kids with physical disabilities. All kinds of sporting activities are hugely rewarding for kids with physical and emotional difficulties and positively contribute to their physical, social, intellectual and emotional development - helping them to build strength, confidence and self-esteem. The message kids take away from these activities is: I CAN! – I can participate, I can contribute, I can achieve.
