Story

FreeWheel is a group of people who have either just got into or are getting back into cycling.  We are attempting to cycle from Twyford to Windsor and back for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, to raise money for Younger People with Dementia Berkshire. So please sponsor and give a shout out to  Sarah Cook, Brigitte Bond, Marie Byrne, Sara Kandiah, Hilary Andrews, Jane Redley, Emma Downes and Jacqui Hussey. (Some of us are also cycling the London Nightrider the following week.)

Dementia is considered young onset when it affects people under 65 years of age. People with young onset dementia often experience a more rapid decline in cognition and quality of life at a time when they may otherwise have expected to be in employment and to have an active social life. YPWD (Berkshire) supports those living with dementia by providing workshops which provide meaningful and age-appropriate activities and support for their families.
