On New Year's Eve  Jacqui was injured in a motorbike crash and broke both arms, the following inactivity left her unfit and feeling old. She decided she needed a challenge to help her get fit again.  Bart also suffered a knock to his fitness following a knee replacement some years back and has recently started to walk to improve this. 

Our interests are biking, walking and music. Where possible we like to help others whilst pursuing our interests. Be that donating Bart's gig money (percussionist), doing motorbike charity rides or this, our biggest challenge to date, walking the coast to coast route.

At the same time there were all the problems with energy prices and it just seemed right to try and raise money for anyone who has found themselves homeless. The Bridge trust not only provides emergency accomodation but also helps people back into work and housing. We feel strongly that helping people back from homelessness saves lives.
