Matt and I are taking part in the Hercules virtual Marathon:

It seemed like a really good idea when the weather was good and it was dark - oh and I wasn't eating a tray of mince pies and a glass of port each night!

But anyway here we are. In January i'll be running (hopefully!) 2 miles a day over 13 days - 1 day for each loco at the RH&DR! Plus one day of just one mile, to ease into the finish and in recognition of the small RH&DR engines such as Simplex and Scooter. 

It's been a really tough year at the RH&DR and all of the teams have worked incredibly hard but it will never make up for the revenue we'd usually see. Fundraising for the RHDRA benefits major projects such as track laying, the Black Prince appeal amongst others.
