Story

Hi everyone,

As part of a work charity drive I have offered to fundraiser for the month of March. My chosen charity is the Zac Scott Braveheart Foundation as it holds a special place in my heart. The charity was set up in memory of a boy who sadly lost his life due to having heart conditions. You can go on to the website and read the full story about Zac and the reason behind the charity 💙

My own son Sean has many heart defects that thankfully were able to be repaired, and after his latest operation in 2019 the charity were so kind to gift Sean a present during his stay in hospital (he obviously chose a Celtic strip -yuck!)

For my fundraising I have decided that on the 25th of March I will wear a full Celtic strip to work if I can reach the target amount of £500. I know this isn’t exactly jumping out of a plane or anything but for me it’s just as bad 🤮

It’s just a wee bit of fun and hopefully we can raise some money for an amazing charity. I would also like to clarify that there will be absolutely NO photos allowed so you’ll just have to take my word for it that I done it if I reach the target 😅Xx

About the charity

The Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation was founded to provide help and grant small wishes of children and young people with a heart disorder who are being/or about to be treated at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow (Yorkhill).
