The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

... but everyone deserves a shot.

While I'm far from being Laura Trott to my husband's Jason Kenny, it would be a good way to prove that's there's more than one endurance cyclist in the family ;)

In a month, I'll be cycling 45 miles (72 KM - sounds worse in metric!) with my Worldpay colleagues from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle.  I personally have never cycled in the UK this far, this long nor this hard, but it seems like a good idea to get proper exercise, see Windsor Castle, peruse the fantastic English sunshine (English sarcasm included) and most of all, raise money to help underprivileged youths get a start in life.

I would appreciate all the support (financial and moral) I can get, and in return I promise I won't turn back at the halfway mark!

PS - don't be fooled by the jersey - my husband cycled 3000m up the French Alps just to buy me a souvenir :)
