Story

Thank you for visiting this page. This March my friend and I will try something never attempted before, we will swim between East and West Falkland with no
wetsuits. To complete this challenge, we face some very real risks (hypothermia,
exposure, sea sickness, rough water and maybe even crossing paths with hungry sea-lions, fur seals or killer whales) but as Christopher Reed said; "Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out into the Ocean."

The crossing is approximately 6km across with some strong currents and waves up to 2 meters, with the water expected to be around 10 degrees Celsius. Jade Perry (British) and Ruben Gonzalez (Argentinean) will swim side by side as part of this epic challenge to unite people through the love of swimming.
