Arghhhh, its real, its one month now as I sit here writing this down to almost the minute till I will hear the start be announced and I have to drag myself around a 10k run. What have I got myself into here?

So, since I am I taking part in this personal challenge, which if you look back to 2 month ago, when I could barely run 200m without collapsing over in a heap and wanting to go to sleep, would have been nigh on impossible, I would like to take this opportunity to ask for a small donation to the charity of my choice.

I am supporting 'The Foyer Federation' as I myself have entered under a foyer's services when I in all my infinite wisdom decided to move out of home at a young age and when I hit the age of 16 I moved into 'Morecambe Foyer'. I lived there for just over a year and it taught me a lot about how the world is and a whole bunch of life skills. I met some amazing people and wonderful staff who still help me out when I am stuck to this day nearly 6 years since I left their care.

I am now at University and have managed to move on well since back then however it would not have been possible without the Foyer where I lived for over a year and some of the skills they gave me. I know it isn't much but this is a small way of saying thanks and that is part of the reason why I will be concentrating on this 10k run on 24th March and why I am making the most of life and enjoying my fitness.
