Hi my names James Addy i'm 18 years old and in May 2011 i'm going to run the Sheffield Half marathon for St.Lukes Hospice.

The reason I chose St.Lukes is beacuse they are a fantastic organisation who look after the terminally ill and help with their pain, my Grandad was diagnosed with Lung Cancer when i was 15 and was admitted to St.Lukes, while he was there he received great treatment and was able to pass away with his dignity and in such peace . 

My Aunty Jean-marie spent a long time in and out of St.Lukes after a lifelong battle with CREST my Aunty was a woman of great resolve and a fantastic character and sadly passed away on new years eve 2008, these two people are the reason i chose to raise money for St.Lukes.

The work they do here is unbelievable and so i'm going to put in the hours of sweat to train for the marathon and all i ask is a small donation to help St.Lukes keep doing the incredible work they are doing now, you never know if it could be you they look after one day! so come on guys it's all for a great worthwhile cause!
