M.E. affects millions of people worldwide and yet it is still often mis-understood by many. We have witnessed first hand its life changing effects on those close to us. It affects people in various different ways, some lead normal lives, but still constantly managing the effects, and others completely debilitated every day.

We will be cycling 1500 miles from Bari in Italy to Barry Island in Wales to raise awareness and valuable funds for Action for M.E. The funds raised can then go towards essential biomedical research into the illness.

Why Bari to Barry you say? We're not too sure either, only for the fact that 2 of us call each other Barry for some reason! We fly to Bari on the 20th September and hope to be back in Barry 2 weeks later with a brief stop in the Alps at Barryland - a museum and kennels promoting the wellbeing of St.Bernards.

We know that people get inundated with requests to donate to charities and so if you are able to donate then we thank you immensely and hopefully together we can do our little bit to help Action for M.E.to understand more about this illness.
