I’m pleased to report I am back in 1 piece from my London to Paris Bike Ride!
Just under 300 Miles in 3 ½ days and lots of hills using up over 25000 calories according to my Garmin!
It was a wonderful experience I will treasury for a long time, and parts of the ride were quite a challenge to say the least.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I and a group of my friends have embarked on a series of events which result in the London to Paris Bike Ride on the 27-31 July 2011.
We are supporting a number of excellent local and national Charities, which will help improve the lives of many people, especially children and cancer sufferers. My chosen Charity is the Sheffield Family Holiday Fund, which sends disadvantaged families on holiday together, most of which have never been on holiday together ever. The holiday fund is the regional branch of the national Holiday Association Charity.
Believe it or not even today..... 1 in 3 families in the South Yorkshire region have never been on holiday. So please give generously, and any donations will be gratefully received, and will help improve children's lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now, I really appreciate your support.
