Story

Hi guys,

After hours of consideration and deliberation I've decided the time has come to bite the bullet and run the London Marathon. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and I've now been given an amazing opportunity to run the London Marathon for a wonderful charity called Miracles.

Miracles is a UK based charity that was started 15 years ago following the 1992 - 1995 Bosnian War. They have three main focusses;

The first is a centre in Bosnia where they make and fit artifical limbs for Landmine victims. Bosnia is still one of the most mined countries which has lead to an estimed 8000 people been killed or injured as a result of the mines. Since the Launch last year Miracles have so far fitted over 80 limbs.

The second focus is a housing and eduction centre for Roma children just outside Sarajevo. The Roma  were murdered in their thousands during the war and 'ethicaly cleansed' from there homes. The housing and education centre is necessary due to the fact 90% of Roma children can currently not attend school due to intimidation, poverty and discrimination.

The third focus is based in the UK where Miracles work with children and their families who have hit rock bottom and have no one and no where else to turn.

This is a great cause and any contribution you can make no matter how small or big will go a long way to changing other people's lives. It will also go a long way to help me in the closing miles of the Marathon.

Thanks alot and wish me luck!

James
