Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our donation page set up in memory of James.
James lost his battle with cancer after 2 years of showing the most bravery & courage.
He faced every round of treatment with optimism and hope that it would work.
The determination that James showed was due to his own character and partly due to the support network he found at Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital.
James found from the staff at Clatterbridge; from the doctors & nurses all the way to the cleaners the most encouragement & support .They always had a smile & word to cheer him up even at times when he thought he couldn't feel any worse.
It wasn't just James who felt strong due to staff at Clatterbridge. Other patients & their families all felt the same and due to this in Clatterbridge you could sense a real feeling of togetherness - whenever people for a second felt they couldn't go on, it was too much there was always someone there to pick you up, dust you off & start the battle again.
For these reasons & we know James would want the same any donations that you would like to give in memory of James we would ask for them to go towards Clatterbridge Cancer Centre so they can continue to develop new treatments, help those diagnosed with cancer and hopefully one day stop cancer.
