Story
In October 2011, my Mum died, whilst being treated for interstitial lung disease. She was only 71 and she died far too young from a condition about which little seems to be known.
She was a vibrant and much-loved lady, who always saw the positive in everyone and everything. I still think of her every day and she is missed by many, many people, both family and friends.
I wish no one else had to suffer like she did, nor other families have to go through what we did. That's why I'm supporting The British Lung Foundation and I hope some of you can too.
The Wales Marathon is my first, and it's a toughie! But I know Mum will be up there beaming and cheering me on... just as she always did. I'll do my very best for her.
