The Pebbles Project Trust works to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children and families in the agricultural communities of the Western Cape in South Africa. We focus on the entire life of the child and the challenging circumstances in which they live in order to make a lasting difference.

Story

I am raising money by cycling 110km’s in the annual Cape Town cycle race for a fantastic educational project called Pebbles which supports disadvantaged children in Hermanus, South Africa. The charity is situated near our home in Hermanus. It enables local farm worker community children to get an education, and also provides food for those children who lack proper nutrition. Pebbles has set up an early childhood development programme and a school in Hermanus to achieve this. The charity has high standards of governance and is a registered educational trust.
