James's Disco Groove with Raffle

James Dempsey is raising money for The Olive Branch (Respecting Minds)

Disco Groove with Raffle · 29 January 2021

The Olive Branch is the brainchild of Alan Mulholland. Founded in November 2017 by Alan Mulholland & Leoné Paul. Alan wanted to give anybody suffering with their mental health free of charge mental health counselling with a more casual over clinical touch. No appointments necessary and you do not have to be referred by a doctor. We believe that delivering the help exactly at the point when needed is most effective. Everybody is welcome. Over 16’s only.

Story

For me I have had my own personal battles with mental health and have been for the past 2 years linked more to my personal life – I won’t go into the detail much. It was a struggle to get help every time I went looking for it. Eventually I got in touch with a local mental health charity close to where I live and they were able to give me the support I need. This charity is called The Olive Branch and they have 2 offices based in Northern Ireland – one in Magherafelt (big city) and the other in Coleraine. The Olive Branch offers free services to its clients.

Get your dancing shows on for the disco groove – raising funds for mental health – Friday 29th January 2021 – location in your living room via your smartphone/laptop/smart TV/tablet. Tunes covering pop/dance/clubland/country/and the rest.

Mental health charity – The Olive Branch

The Olive Branch offers FOC counselling services to people in the community across Northern Ireland - they have offices in Magherafelt and Coleraine.

A special guest appearance from a DJ that has played in many different venues from The Fox and Pheasant (for those that remember), Manor House, Club Inferno, Brysons and the rest! I am talking about none other than DJ Mighty Quinn. DJ Mighty Quinn has worked with a lot of names across the years including the likes of Alice DJ, N-Trance, Special D, Micky Modelle, Jenny Frost, Darren Styles, Ian Van Dahl, Basshunter, Mandy Reid, Ritchie Remo, QFX, Miss GB Gemma Garrett and many many more.
